Webinar 3:
Optimizing Value Added Services (VAS) for Greater Revenue Generation

Network operators face a huge challenge, as bandwidth-intensive applications such as gaming, photo sharing, social media and mobile TV, continue to gain popularity. Revenue isn’t increasing as fast as this booming broadband demand, creating consternation among mobile operators. Every network (wireline or mobile) comes with basic calling services, but operators must try to upsell users to value-added services (VAS). Why? Because, while basic calling services are delivered with slim margins in a competitive environment, operators that sell differentiated VAS can increase average revenue per user (ARPU) with higher margins.

This webinar will discuss the five new technologies that are disrupting the market as well as providing new opportunities for operators to expand their VAS offerings to include VoLTE and video. During this session our speakers will also address new business models and innovative applications that are being developed.

Topics covered:

  • LTE + IMS video conferencing
  • Small cells and gateways
  • Wi-Fi and core network offloading
  • Machine-to-Machine (M2M)
  • Cloud media processing for peak capacity
  • Rich Communications Suite (RCS)
