Radisys - Enabling Wireless Infrastructure Solutions

Welcome to our September newsletter!

Spectrum utilization is the fuel that drives capacity growth in today's mobile networks. That's why we are seeing an increased interest across the industry in LTE unlicensed spectrum. So, we jumped on the opportunity to collaborate with FierceWireless to co-sponsor a new eBook called, Understanding LTE-Unlicensed.

At Radisys, we continue to be focused in helping our mobile operator customers use spectrum more efficiently. That is why CellEngine's support of LTE-Advanced capabilities allows our partners to develop access point solutions for LTE-U spectrum. I encourage you to download and read this informative piece.

And, if you are going to be attending CTIA, Las Vegas (Sept. 9-11) or Small Cells, Americas in Dallas (November 2-4), let me know if you'd like to set-up a meeting.

Understanding LTE-Unlicensed

This new eBook, brought to you by FierceWireless and sponsored by Radisys and Azimuth, discusses how LTE-U is attracting industry support, as well as controversy due to concerns around Wi-Fi interference. Topics in the eBook include the importance of pre-deployment testing, and the skeptical approach operators are taking with regard to their network investments.

Within the eBook is an article, Being a Good Neighbor: Mobile Industry Points the Way to LTE-Unlicensed, where Radisys' Renuka Bhalerao, Sr. Product Marketing Manager, discusses the role of small cells in an LTE-U world. She points out that LTE-U is an extension of LTE-Advanced, so carrier aggregation and interference management techniques still apply to aggregating unlicensed spectrum for LTE-U as well. Download the eBook to explore all of the viewpoints.

Radisys is pleased to announce our fall line-up of live webinars.
