Radisys - Enabling Wireless Infrastructure Solutions

Tom McQuade

Welcome to Our May Newsletter!

There has been a lot of discussion lately around LTE over unlicensed spectrum and how it brings new opportunities to mobile operators. This technology delivers access to hundreds of MHz of spectrum in unlicensed bands, making it an attractive option for many LTE operators. However, it comes with some challenges. In our new white paper, "Deploying LTE over Unlicensed Spectrum", author Renuka Bhalerao describes how LTE small cells can leverage unlicensed spectrum to deliver increased wireless capacity.

Also newsworthy: Radisys is shortlisted for the Small Cell Forum Award for our joint nomination with Parallel Wireless for its multi-mode solution - the HetNet Gateway (HNG) - enabled by our CellEngine Femotality 3G small cell software.

Finally, I look forward to attending the Small Cell World Summit in London (May 10-12) to explore the latest technology advancements in this exciting area of small cells. Please get in touch with me if you would like to meet. I hope to see you there.
